LIFE!

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

I had a big AH! HA! ha ha moment at age 49. At that point, I stopped EXISTING and HIDING and chose Life! I chose to start Living! Hence, my motto: Live Life! Laugh Often! [there's a lot more meat to my motto than meets the eye!]

I wrote a book called: ‘Life is a Song in the Key of Love!‘ It’s about appreciating life in ALL its forms of expression. I no longer have a fear of insects; where once I would have screamed and hit the person nearest me just to get away from a bee or spider – I can now allow a Bee to buzz near my ear, as I smile – and I can allow it to walk on me freely – to allow it to BE. I can rescue a spider or thank it and appreciate the work it is doing to remove other bugs from my home. I am in AWE of all Life! [keep in mind, I'm still human and still make a fool of myself on occassion!] :-)

I awoke this morning and was inspired to write these words. May you be blessed this day and always with a life filled with Peace. Be Aware of the PRESENT, it’s a GIFT!

LIFE!

In and through everything;

I am in AWE of your Presence.

Life IS, WAS and Always will BE.

Life produces Life.

I am one with everything; and everything

is one with me. I have everything I need.

All Life expression is equal.

Life IS.

I am in AWE! RESPECT!

Missing your Present?

Monday, November 1st, 2010

Did you miss your present? hmm?

I was behind a well dressed business woman in a checkout line at a Dollar Store. I looked down and noticed a KEY in the bottom of an empty store-hand basket near her feet. I said: ‘Excuse me? Is that your key?’

No response. I said a little louder: ‘Excuse me? Is that your key?’ [she was INTENTLY Texting someone on her mobile device.] She finally CAME TO – for a BRIEF second to say: ‘WHUH?’ I repeated my question, again – she mumbled ‘neh’ and went back to her texting.

Then, the well-dressed business woman in front of her, just having finished paying for HER purchases echoed: ‘Whuh?’ Her friend didn’t even hear her – and mindlessly walked out behind her, leaving the store.

I was a bit ‘concerned’ that they would both be going out to get into a vehicle and drive! No alcohol, no food, just mental FOG and totally unware of THEIR PRESENT!

[I have a 63 yr old sister who was hit by a drunk driver when she was 19 - she is permanently front left lobe brain damaged as a result. She is now in a nursing home and I'm her representative. So my concern is not a light one.]

I have been marketing myself as well as making the effort to SPREAD SMILES BY THE MILES to rush hour traffic – placing signs out in front of a friend’s restaurant that read: ‘FREE Smiles & Laughs Drive-thru!’

or my other effort: MOTOR-VATION with another sign that read – ‘*Smile! YOU’RE GREAT!’

As I sit or stand along the road – I am AMAZED at the amount of Totally NON-PRESENT drivers going by! Not just from Texting, Cell Phone talking-but from staring off into space etc. [yes, I am guilty of the day dreaming, myself.]

- I found a quarter under a chair at a restaurant today!
- I saw a cloud in the sky yesterday, shaped like a ‘V’ for victory!
- I saw a ‘cloud-like’ X-shape in the sky last week – the residue of two jet paths having crossed one another. It was comical – X marked the spot of the restaurant I had gone to!

- I found a dime on the floor of my hairstylist’s salon a few weeks ago.

I play a smile game where I just look at people with a closed-mouth smile and give myself a point if they return the smile.

I watched a teenage boy talking to his mother in the lobby-waiting area of a restaurant the other week. His mother was focused on her mobile device – reading and texting. The TEENAGER was Talking Away to his mother – and all that came from her was an occassional: ‘Whuh?’ ‘Huh?’ How many parents would be THRILLED to have their teen wanting to talk to them? I watched in amazement!

When walking to my mailbox the other day, I found a beautiful bird feather. I picked it up and saved it! When I was conducting my MOTOR-VATION event, today – I found a TULIP TREE leaf on the ground next to my chair! What a find! I picked it up and saved it!

All these PRESENTs I receive in Smiles, Waves, Beeps, Acknowledgements, and the little GIFTS God, Spirit, the Universe lay across my path as I walk out and about are PRICELESS!

How many PRESENTS did you miss today by not being PRESENT?

I SAID – HOW MANY PRESENTS DID YOU MISS TODAY BY NOT BEING PRESENT!? [this line was just for effect - as a reader - I can tell you are very present..]

THANK YOU for your gift of reading my blog(s) – YOU are APPRECIATED!

Especially Silly Series of Events

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

For starting out, Ho Hum, my Saturday turned out to be especially silly and Smile Provoking!

Headed out to DENNYS’ for lunch. After parking and engaging my car alarm – WOOP WOOP WOOP! a car alarm (thinking it’s mine) is SCREAMING its head off. I pull the key fob out of my purse and proceed to press every button available, the alarm won’t stop. I look to see if the car lights are flashing, then realize it’s the vehicle next to mine. Then it stops. WONDERING if someone in a nearby store was messing with me?

DENNYS’ was packed, but I got a nice table. Heard the table behind me tell the server they had a birthday. When the server left, I got up (taking two SMILE Face, yellow, positive saying bookmark business cards with me) – excused myself to the 3, gray-haired ‘young folks’ sitting there – said I overheard there was a birthday? The man and woman pointed to the man on the other side of the booth. I said: ‘If you don’t mind, IT’S FREE, I’ll sing the ‘Ha Ha Happy Birthday song to you?’ They smiled in approval. I said: ‘Pay attention, the words are tricky!’ …so I went on with the ‘ha ha ha ha ha Haaa…’ At the end, the woman asked how to pronounce my last name, as she looked at it on the card. I said: ‘VERY CAREFULLY!’ She laughed out loud, saying that was funny. [I try.]

I went back to my table, and heard [from the very closely placed table of 6 college-age men & women sitting directly to my right] ‘…yeah, he was laughing in his sleep!’ I reached in my purse and whipped out a Smile Face ‘Laugh Yourself Healthy’ bookmark – gently passing it to the ‘accused laughing/dreaming guy’. They looked at me a bit cautiously. I said: ‘It’s OK, you don’t have to keep the bookmark if you don’t want to.’ – and I smiled. They kept it.

About 5 minutes later, a woman stopped at my table as she was leaving. She said: ‘You have a beautiful voice! That was lovely, what you did for his birthday!’ I smiled and thanked her for mentioning it and being so kind. She said: ‘You have an infectious smile!’ I said: ‘I want you to know how SPECIAL it was that you stopped to tell me this and I note ‘a little kindness goes a long way’ – you’ve just made my day with your kindness.’ She smiled, and her ‘daughter?’ smiled as they went up to pay their bill.

I drove up the road and beeped/waved as I passed the two CHIC-FILET fast food COW MASCOTS standing along side the road and waving at traffic.

When I got to A.C. MOORE crafts to make use of my 50% off coupon – I got in line behind a woman at the cash register. I heard the song: ‘THE TIME WARP’ [Rocky Horror Picture Show] playing on the P.A. System

I couldn’t resist. It was just at the part: ‘IT’S JUST A JUMP TO THE LEFT’
so I – JUMPED TO THE LEFT (ha ha!)

The woman in front of me turned, smiled, laughed and DID THE SAME!

PRICELESS MOMENT! We both – standing one in line behind the other, continued the ‘time warp’ dance steps as the instructions were sung in the song.
SHE WAS GOOD! She knew it perfectly! I was a beat behind, waiting for the instructions.

When it was done we had a chuckle.

This has been an ‘ESPECIALLY SILLY SATURDAY SERIES OF EVENTS!’

Now I can go about my chores for the rest of the day with a smile on my face.
… an maybe take ‘a jump to the left and a step to the right’ if I need recharged!

Butterfly, Bees, Hawk & SMILES!

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

WOW! WOW! WOW! – A VERY SUCCESSFULL HEALTHY-HAPPY HOUR!

What a WONDERFUL evening filled with magical, fun, healthy results at my LAFOLOT HEALTHY HAPPY HOUR – FREE SMILES & LAUGHS DRIVE-THRU!

After 2 days of chilly, overcast, windy-rainy weather, THE SUN CAME OUT!
The SKY CLEARED!

As I set up my signs, I noticed bright, yellow dandelions by each sign! I had to take a photo!

As I sat waiting for the traffic to build, I saw a YELLOW butterfly visit the YELLOW Dandelions. It brought a SMILE to my face, as it flittered from one flower to the next.

Two Bees visited, taking the same path as the earlier butterfly.

Then, there was a commotion with 3 crows and a smaller bird. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I looked up and saw, A HAWK! It was sitting directly above my chair on the lamp post and power line pole! WOW! How magnificent!

I got out my cell phone camera and took two photos.

I was IN A-MAZE-MENT of all the wonderful, beautiful expression of LIFE going on all around me! The Sun, the clouds, the blue sky, the dandelions, butterfy, bees, crows, hawk and then came: THE SMILES, LAUGHS, BEEPS

and best of all? Three of the DAIRY QUEEN Ice-Cream and Grille employees crossed the busy road to TAKE A PHOTO with the NEAT LADY they saw across the road – sitting and collecting Smiles and Laughs with her SMILE Spatula and occassional clown nose!

Priceless, Blessed, Beautiful, Magical moments.

Ah! The wonder of it all. In gratitude -

10-10-10 SHARE A SMILE DAY!

Friday, October 8th, 2010

The SMILE PROJECT has dubbed 10-10-10 ‘SHARE A SMILE DAY!’

As HA HA Helen of LAFOLOT – I grew, in a healthy way, with my Socialization skills, by developing the: HA HA HELEN SMILE CAMPAIGN! Along with slogans such as: ‘Drive Yourself Happy and SPREAD SMILES BY THE MILES’ as well as ‘Light the World with SMILE POWER!’ and my favorite – ‘FLASH Someone … a SMILE!’

I was inspired this morning, by a song pouring into my mind which I have called: SHARE A SMILE TODAY [words and music by Helen Szollosy]. See the words at my SHARE A SMILE SONG page or hear and see it sung by clicking here.

I like the number 10 because it makes your mouth look like a SMILE when it is pronounced! Try it: 10-10-10 ;o)

I like October because it has two Os in it which can be SMILEY faces!
October 1st is also a day to celebrate smiling!

So with all the Os and the 3 Zeroes – which can be smiley faces in 10-10-10 –
it’s a GREAT month to honor the healthy effects of SMILING on the body, mind, and socialization aspects!

I have seen a person grow inches taller, their face light up, and a smile and hello automatically pop out of them just because of receiving a closed mouth smile from me. IT WARMS MY HEART!

It started out as a scientific experiment for me. But, like the scene in THE GRINCH THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS – where ‘his heart grew 10 times bigger that day …’ – such was it with me: I learned the more I smiled and saw the HEART WARMING response from others – my own heart started to soften and warm!

A-MAZ-ING THING – SMIL-ING!

May you have a smile-filled day – both in your heart and soul and activities!

Forgiving myself…testing, testing

Gotta LAUGH! At myself! On a regular basis!
I tell people and write all the time: ‘I teach what I need to learn and share the CREATIVE ways I work through my LAUGHABLE Life Lessons!

Many people that meet me say they can see how ‘Passionate’ I am about what I do. What do I do? My intention is to Motivate and Inspire others through speaking, singing, writing and laughter wellness!

So, when I left my State Government job after 28 1/2 years – on a LEAP OF FAITH – with the strong, passionate intention to:

1) Teach all that I had learned by making use of all the wonderful ‘mental/emotional health support offered by my wonderful medical plan

2) Teach laughter wellness, Good-Hearted Living (Steve Wilson), and how to use Creative HEALTHY Triggers and ways to ‘get through a work day’ to my fellow State Employees – as a Commonwealth Vendor

I, once again, was given the opportunity to FORGIVE myself and others due to the hurt I felt when a negative, non-accurate (due to leaving out information about laughter wellness) article was written about my PASSION, of all things!

In my excitement to help others with a creative, medically endorsed/proven health & wellness tool known as Laughter Wellness, Laughter Therapy or Laughter Yoga – I never dreamed it wouldn’t be embraced by others – especially an investigative reporter trained to DIG for the FACTS.

But, alas, that’s what happened. So the HEALING from the HURT began. I started with instant FORGIVENESS. HA HA! ‘I’ had the last laugh! My hurt turned to anger and frustration as I was marked as a non-favorable Commonwealth Vendor – marked as ‘one to not hire’ for FEAR of our local paper pouncing on ‘the waste of tax dollars on a comedienne.’

Well – that was the Summer of 2009, it is now October 2010 and I am BEING BLESSED with the OPPORTUNITY to MOVE PAST THE HURT, THE ANGER and allowing a “Health Section” reporter from the same paper to ‘come into my home’ to interview me about Laughter Wellness.

Biting nails, holding in anxiety, wanting so badly for the FACTS to be printed –
and ‘alas’ – I know I have VERY LITTLE control over what the reporter will write.

But – what is MOST IMPORTANT to me:

1) FORGIVE MYSELF for my ‘human’ way of dealing with it all
2) FORGIVE the newspaper, editor and investigative reporter that I ALLOWED to take me through feelings of hurt, anger, and frustration.

This is HA HA ‘Living HUMANLY’ Helen Szollosy of LAFOLOT

OK – so if you take acting classes – you learn to find personal thoughts, feelings, and mannerisms to take on an ‘on stage’ persona to make the character believable to the audience.

Many performers, sportsmen/women, singers, actors all do this to bring about the best enjoyment for their audiences. Think of Mohammed Ali and most recently Beyonce’ who noted: ‘takes on the persona of a character known as Sasha Fierce’ when on stage.

Well, there is a positive, healthy way to make use of this in everyday life. I’m not talking about denying your feelings and not being in touch with reality. There are just times when ‘ACTING AS IF’ can help to take you from Gloomy Gus mode to a more positive outlook mode.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE bicycle riding, the challenge of conquering a steep hill and then WHOOOOOSH! feeeeeeling the reward by flying down the other side of the hill; especially on country roads with little traffic.

I was driving up, down, up, down a curvy, fun road today – it’s a BEAUTIFUL weather day in late September. Car windows open, breeze flowing in through the windows, sun shining – I was DRIVING MYSELF HAPPY!

Then, I thought of a FUN Name! and Alternate Persona to FIT the moment!

PHUN RIDINGWEATHER! At that moment, in the car, with a smile on my face, in my heart and in my soul – I WAS – PHUN RIDINGWEATHER!

So to add a new pitch to the ACT AS IF or FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT philosophy – take it a step further and get in touch with your: James Bond, Sasha Fierce, Alice Cooper or whoever you wish to dream up and let out!

On a cold, winter day – wanting a beautiful Spring or Summer drive – without even leaving my home – I can get in touch with the PHUN PHEELINGS AND PHABULOUS HEART AND SOUL WARMING character known as PHUN RIDINGWEATHER.

‘Go on and take a free ride…yeah yeah yeah yeah …’ It’s all in how you choose to FEEL. It’s all about CHOICE. You know, you can also use this method for dealing with overpowering personalities in the workplace or other areas of everyday life!

Feeling mousy? Imagine yourself taller, in a power business suit and taking on Donald Trump! Then go in and talk to your boss about that raise! For example.

Just THINK of all the ways you can apply it in your life!

Feeling groovy … just kickin’ back on the cobblestones…

Work through it with a SMILE

Friday, September 10th, 2010

I tell people there is a LOT more MEAT to my MESSAGE than MEETS the Eye!
Live Life! Laugh Often! – as well as my Ha Ha Helen’s SMILE CAMPAIGN and DRIVE YOURSELF HAPPY! Campaign

I always say, I ‘teach what I need to learn’ – I feel it’s how I come across as AUTHENTIC – sharing what I DO to WORK THROUGH my ‘OFF MOMENTS’ in the event it helps someone else.

For example: TODAY! All I can say is, my menopausal hormones, addictive behaviors are certainly having two year old temper tantrums inside me! I could tell since early this morning. I am AWARE – thank goodness!

1) Even though I was driving down the road to drop off a demo music CD that had been requested – my mind started to come up with negative scenarios of running into all sorts of problems. 12 Step Program folks will relate to that.

So – I had to – even though FEELING and being AWARE of that – place a SMILE on my face to ‘help me work through it.’ I also made myself AWARE of my AGITATED state of mind and became MORE PRESENT while driving.

Then – I had a WONDERFUL time at the Art Gallery where I dropped off the CD. It went beautifully and I shared a few laughs! *pfew! Thanks goodness I was aware and didn’t give into it.

2) I stopped at the grocery store to drop off a couple Full Belly Laughter flyers and pick up two items. I was doing REALLY WELL! Still feeling the ‘Mount St. Helen’s’ Volcano brewing inside of me from hormones, cravings, etc. – but being AWARE.

HOW WONDERFUL! As I was leaving the store with my mini-cart – a young man walking towards me FLASHED ME A SMILE! It immediately REFLECTED off my face back to him! [SMILE CAMPAIGN GAME PAID OFF!] Here I was, have a CRAPPY moment and I had CASHED IN MY POINTS I had earned from giving smiles! *sigh – it was a wonderful moment …

BECAUSE – I start to head out the automatic/electric doors and a guy in front of me in on his cell phone. He is STRUGGLING to take bags out of his mini-cart, while kicking the cart with his right foot to move it away from him – people walking all around him…

my MIRACLE MOMENT was gone in a blip of a second! I vocalized in a judgemental tone: ‘IF YOU GOT OFF THE PHONE, YOU COULD PUT YOUR CART BACK.’ I did a kindness and put his cart back with mine.

*sigh … As I turned to leave through the exit doors, he turned to me and said: ‘WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO SAY THAT? I MEAN WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY? IT WAS A BUSINESS CALL!’

I was SO PROUD of myself! I immediately planted a SMILE on myself and just SMILED back as he expressed himself to me. We we’re heading in opposite directions, so I just HELD MY SMILE and allowed him to express what he needed.

Did we agree? No. But there was no need to get into an argument over it.

WOW! What a rollercoaster up ‘feeling like crap, being aware, receiving a smile and a moment later going into another crappy moment but choosing to not allow it to escalate.’

Then, after I dropped flyers off at two other venues, a woman HELD THE DOOR OPEN FOR ME as I exited! I SMILED and THANKED her.

So, why am I sharing this? I like to share the GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY along with the miracles of how I go through my day. It’s not always perfect, I share a lot of the fun stuff –

But, perhaps, now you’ll see the PERSONAL POWER of my SMILE CAMPAIGN and DRIVE YOURSELF HAPPY CAMPAIGN which help me to make my own world and other’s worlds a little brighter, moment by moment …

whether I’m the GIVER or the RECEIVER of the SMILE or Healthy Driving Moment.

Live Life! Laugh Often!
Spread those Smiles by the Miles! and
DRIVE YOURSELF HAPPY!

Keep earning and saving those HA HA Helen of LAFOLOT SMILE CAMPAIGN points! Like me, you never know when you’ll need them!

Silly Shopper & Laughter in the Bag!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Gotta LOVE how I’ve turned grocery shopping into a FUN activity – when it’s an activity I like the least!

Since it’s JUST ME and I work from home – I’ve made a fun, effective habit of INEFFICIENT shopping! By stopping by the grocery story every other day or so – for whatever item I currently need – I get more visibility and advertising time!

I have a LAFOLOT magnetic display on my car, a HA-HAHA license plate, etc. – I like getting out of the house and driving around so I get known. I go to a local grocery store where some of the carts still have my LAFOLOT, bright yellow background AD.

Yesterday, I stopped in and had one of my new: FLASH Someone …a SMILE! – iron on transfer – canvas shopping bags I created. I always look for my AD carts so I can ‘mess around’ with the folks and ask them if they recognize anyone familiar, since the AD has my photo.

First fun thing: I encountered a mom with two pre-teen boys. They were doing that thing where they FIGHT and WHINE over WHO gets to PUSH the cart? HA HA – I ran up and said (as I WINKED at the mom) – Nooooo Iiiiiiii Wannnna Push the Carrrrrrt! [the mom laughed, the one boy let go and the other kept pushing it! He wasn't going to give in, even with an over 50 menopausal woman getting in on the game!] Laugh out Loud!

Then, I went into an aisle and BINGO! I turned to my right and THERE I WAS! My AD and FACE were on the back side of the child seat in the cart. I said to the woman (who had a preteen son with her) – WOW! So YOU’RE the LUCKY ones today! She looked as I pointed to the AD. She stepped around the cart and laughed. She said to her son: ‘Come over here, do you recognize this person?’ He smiled (HUMORED us!) HA HA!

I saw a manager walk by and said: ‘WOW! As I pointed to the cart – this store has the BEST CART ADs!’ He laughed.

THEN! A Wonderful thing! I like meeting folks from different countries. I got to talking to a man stocking shelves. He was from GUYANA! What luck! I got to learn a lot about his country, directly from the source of someone born and raised there! I was blessed with his sharing of pride about his country.

Then, at the checkout, I joked with the cashier that I needed ASSISTANCE placing my two items (black pepper and paprika) on the conveyor belt. When she saw my FLASH Someone … a SMILE! canvas bag for my groceries – she exclaimed: WOW! WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE!

I said: ‘Do you REALLY like it? I just made it this morning!’ She said “yes!”
I said: ‘OK, IT’S YOURS!’ and gave it to her! The smile and thrill on her face was payment enough – of course – I asked her to use it to help me advertise and tell people about it. I also asked her to tell people about my website.

So, once again, I got to have fun, silliness, and get great information about a country, as well as a new fan – during one of my least-liked chores – grocery shopping! HA HA! Success!

Spread those SMILE by the MILES and you never know who you’ll meet while out shopping!

Grey Day but ‘WAY OKAY!’

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

All I have to say is yesterday was the total opposite of today! After having a ‘challenging’ morning, I discovered one of my ‘HA HA Helen on a STICK’ – ‘Stick With Laughter!’ promotional items had been defaced, or used as a VooDoo Doll at the restaurant AD board I frequent!

Someone had painstakingly taken the time to wrap a clear plastic straw cover around my head/mouth area and used red sauce to indicate blood dripping out of my neck. Then they had put it back on the AD board ledge. It was upsetting to say the least! The restaurant owner threw it out. We were meeting to organize a FULL BELL LAUGHTER – Food Bank collection event.

Well! Today was the opposite! After a FLUKE of a WONDERFUL opportunity to promote myself with a laughter wellness demo and 5 minute talk to my fellow chamber of commerce members at an A.M. Strategies meeting – the day just kept getting better!

I finished some of the FULL BELLY LAUGHTER promotional items (Press Release and POSTER) to take to THAI Palace and meet with the owner. When I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed there were at least 5 grey/silver cars parked in a row. As I parked ANOTHER grey/silver car had just pulled in!

Two women and a man got out. The one woman was wearing an ALL GREY dress! The guy had a grey/print shirt on! I said: What’s with all these GREY cars and GREY clothes, today! They laughed and nodded in agreement.

I have to note: Today is a GREY, overcast day but I LOVE IT! I haven’t had to run my A/C, the windows are open and the temp is a comfortable low 70s. At my meeting in the morning, TWO women both showed up with Black Shirts and Grey Pants!

Once I got into the restaurant, I noticed the owner/server was wearing a Black shirt and GREY pants! ANOTHER customer was wearing a BLACK shirt and GREY pants! I didn’t know if the weather had inspired the colors of the day, or lack, thereof!

AMAZINGLY! Remember the VooDoo HA HA Helen on a STICK? Well! Let me tell, ya! As I entered the restaurant, the one guy from the ‘grey’ car held the door open for me (THANK HIM VERY MUCH!). As I passed him, he called out: ‘IS THIS YOU!?’ He was pointing to another of my ‘untarnished’ HA HA Helen’s on a STICK’ AHAHAHA It is a printed photo of me wearing my tinsel deely bobber headband and holding a cheering flag. I’m wearing my LAFOLOT, Live Life! Laugh Often! t-shirt.

I tilted my head sideways and put on a big smile like in the photo. He said, is it you? I laughed and said: ‘WHADAYA THINK?’ He was thrilled! I gave him a Yellow, Smiley Face LAFOLOT Bookmark. I said: ‘Didn’t know you’d meet a local celebrity when you showed up here, today? Did ya?’ He said no, and laughed. I told him about the ‘defaced’ item from yesterday.

When I was getting read to leave, he and the woman in grey said: ‘YOU’RE NOT LEAVING ALREADY?’ I laughed. The ‘woman in grey’ said: I HAVE to tell you! Whenever my daughter and I come in here, I have to look and see what NEW items LAFOLOT has out on the AD board! She said they always make her smile, laugh and brighten her day.

I said: ‘THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU’VE MADE MY DAY!’ I told her about my motto: ‘A little kindness goes a long way.’ I said: ‘You’ve shown me a kindness today and BLOCKED out all the negative stuff from yesterday!

I told her about the ‘defaced’ HA HA Helen on a STICK –

She asked me my name. I jokingly said: HA HA HELEN! She said: I guess that makes me: SH SH SHERYL! I said: ‘OH! You have the QUIET LAUGH name!’ I then demonstrated the Quiet Laugh and told her what a great laugh it was to be named after! I told her it was very isometric and toning! She laughed and smiled and I gave her a Yellow, Smiley Face LAFOLOT bookmark.

So I always tell people I am a person of opposites. It may have been a GREY, OVERCAST, COOL DAY – BUT IT WAS ‘WAY OKAY’! It was totally FLIPPED around from the previous day!

A little kindness goes a long way …
LIVE LIFE! LAUGH OFTEN!
